We are ecstatic to announce that Fidarsi Furniture was awarded 13^th place out of the Top 50 startup companies in Australia!  In addition, Fidarsi Furniture Sydney co-founders, Neil Singh and Candida Stephens, were the only runners up in the “Young Entrepreneur of the Year” category presented at the glittering awards ceremony held at the Crown in Melbourne on March 30th. 

The 2011 Startup Smart business awards showcased Australia’s most innovative and fastest growing companies from a variety of industries across Australia.  The award winners represent an emerging generation of business leaders in Australia who are redefining the business landscape.  Startup Smart publisher, Amanda Gnome, referred to the winners as “most innovative I have ever seen. I have been running and judging awards for over 20 years.  I was struck this year more than ever at the number of trendsetters in this group.”

Oliver Milman at Smartcompany further commended Fidarsi Furniture on redefining the furniture industry: “Not so long ago, selling furniture online would’ve been considered a ridiculous idea. This didn’t stop either Milan Direct nor Fidarsi Furniture for doing just that and reaping the rewards.”
